About the Role We are looking for a Qualified Cardiac Sonographer to joinour busy cardiology team. The successfulcandidate will be located in the top of the South Island in New Zealand. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will perform a wide range ofdiagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures, including transthoracic,transoesophageal, and stress echocardiography. Your expertise will play acritical role in diagnosing and managing cardiovascular conditions. You willwork alongside a team of skilled professionals in a friendly, patient-centredenvironment. There are opportunities for training, skill development, andcareer advancement. You will work Monday to Friday, routine hours between 7:00amto 6:00pm with no on-call. About the Team/Service/ Location You will be joining a supportive and multidisciplinaryteam of highly trained sonographers and cardiology specialists. The echocardiography department at Nelson Hospital hasadvanced equipment including the latest echocardiography machines, stress echosystems, and advanced imaging software. Haveeither the DMU or QUT post graduate qualification (or equivalent). Holdfull registration with the MRTB, and a current annual practisingcertificate in Cardiac Ultrasound. Beable to provide fully comprehensive echo reports and have excellenttechnical skills and knowledge. Willhave or obtain a Full NZ driver License and be prepared to travel tooutlying clinics as required Becapable of working independently in a small team with a commitment toprovide high standards of patient care.
