Senior Power Systems Engineer | ANZ's Leading Power Systems Consultancy We're partnering with one of the largest and most established power systems engineering consultancies in the ANZ region — a business behind some of Australia and New Zealand's biggest energy transition projects, including major Renewable Energy Zones, large-scale battery storage systems, and landmark wind and transmission projects connecting into the grid. This is a rare opportunity to join a team recognised as one of the largest specialist Power Systems groups in the region, working across generation, transmission, distribution, substations, and renewable integration for utilities, mining, and infrastructure clients. What you'll be doing: Leading power systems studies including load flow, short circuit, protection grading, arc flash, and dynamic/transient analysis Supporting grid connection studies for renewable energy and battery storage projects Working across generation, transmission and distribution networks on some of the country's most significant energy infrastructure projects Mentoring junior and intermediate engineers within a high-performing technical team Engaging directly with utility clients, TNSPs, DNSPs, and AEMO on connection and compliance matters What we're looking for: Degree in Electrical/Power Engineering (or similar) Strong hands‑on experience with tools such as PSCAD, PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP or similar Solid understanding of NER, AEMO requirements, and grid connection processes Proven experience in power systems studies, protection, or connections engineering A collaborative mindset and appetite to work on nationally significant renewable and grid infrastructure projects Why apply: Join a business shaping the future of Australia and New Zealand's energy transition Work on landmark projects across renewables, BESS, and major transmission upgrades Genuine career progression within one of the region's largest specialist power systems teams Flexible, collaborative culture with offices across Australia, NZ, and internationally Apply now or reach out directly for a confidential discussion. #J-18808-Ljbffr
