Clinical Nurse Leader, Med-Surg

Reporting to the Care Centre Manager, this role will help to provide leadership, support, and clinical guidance to our incredible Care Centre team. Responsibilities Assist in providing clinical guidance, day to day direction, and leadership to the Care Centre team. Work closely with the Care Centre Manager to support safe operation of the care team. Actively involve with the Summerset quality management programme. Consult with residents and their advocates to establish shared expectations of care and service delivery. Act as a clinical liaison for health care team members with a key focus on the primary care team, pharmacists, podiatrists, physiotherapist, dietitian, and specialist services required for individual residents. This is a full time role working Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm. Qualifications Experience in a clinical environment with a deep understanding of the aged care sector and Te Whatu Ora standards. Experienced Clinical Nurse Lead with solid aged care experience in New Zealand. A Registered Nurse with a current NZNC practising certificate and PDRP achieved to level 2-4. A high degree of clinical expertise ideally in the aged care sector. Computer literacy including clinical care systems. A team player with a strong commitment to be a positive influence, coach, and mentor. A skilled communicator with a proven ability to build positive relationships.
