Position Chef De Partie – Right Track Sports & Hospitality Limited (trading as The Right Track Sports Cafe), Auckland City, NewZealand. About the Role This full‑time, on‑site position offers opportunities for career growth within a dynamic kitchen environment. The Chef De Partie will manage kitchen operations, prepare high‑quality dishes, and maintain food safety standards. Responsibilities Manage kitchen operations under the guidance of the Head Chef and Sous Chef. Prepare high‑quality, innovative dishes while maintaining food safety, hygiene and quality control standards. Lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team, ensuring effective communication and problem‑solving. Review and uphold policies for food safety, health and workplace safety. Maintain operational equipment and work environments; report hazards to management. Order and maintain inventory to support efficient operations. Support and communicate with kitchen and front‑of‑house staff, maintaining positive relationships. Attend kitchen meetings and participate in kitchen team activities. Perform any other duties reasonably requested by the Head Chef or Sous Chef. Qualifications At least two years of relevant professional kitchen experience. Proficient culinary skills with a passion for creating delicious dishes. Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and quality control standards. Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities. Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure. Commitment to teamwork, excellence and positive attitude. Preferred Competencies – Technical A Level4 or higher qualification in Cookery, Hotel Management & Catering Technology or equivalent. Proven budgeting and menu costing skills. Strong time‑management skills. Preferred Competencies – Interpersonal & Personal Creativity in menu development and presentation. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
