About the role Reporting to the Associate Director Employment Relations, you'll work across a broad range of strategic and operational initiatives. You'll transform complex employment data into meaningful insights, develop and maintain employment policies, support collective bargaining activities, and partner with leaders to improve employment practices across the University. This is a varied role that combines analytical thinking, policy development, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement. You'll collaborate with HR specialists, senior leaders, governance teams and external stakeholders to deliver practical solutions that make a real organisational impact. What you'll bring Demonstrated experience managing complex employment relations matters. Strong knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation and ER best practice. Advanced capability in analysing and interpreting large, complex workforce datasets, translating data insights into clear, actionable employment relations strategies that inform risk management, and decision-making. Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills. Outstanding written communication and policy development skills. The ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for improving systems, services and organisational capability. Why Massey?
