Based in our New Plymouth office Permanent, 80 hours per fortnight Starting salary $75,326 - $79,746 (depending on experience) Mā te tūnga | About the role We are currently seeking an Administration Manager to drive a high level of service for visitors and staff in our Taranaki IDEA Services branch. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of day-to-day administration operations within the service. This is a hands‑on position, providing administration support to the Area Manager and the wider team. You will also provide leadership and guidance to a team of Administration Coordinators to deliver a high level of administration and reception duties in the office. This is an exciting opportunity for a focused and self‑motivated administrator with strong organisational skills, excellent customer service, the ability to quickly build strong professional relationships, and a passion to be part of an organisation that is making a difference in our community. Ngā pūuīmatanga ŋŋ | What you will bring Strong administration experience (general administration, accounts management, purchase orders, bank reconciliations, full knowledge of all Microsoft programmes including excel). High-level report writing skills and financial acumen, with the ability to analyse information and produce accurate, professional reports. People management experience and leadership with the ability to motivate, support and guide others. The ability to resolve problems and respond calmly when put under pressure. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills including the ability to build positive rapport quickly. Excellent customer service skills. Confidence in communicating with people who have a disability. A full New Zealand Driver License.
