Resource Recovery Park Operator

We have one of the largest horizontal infrastructure teams in the South Island working in the maintenance, civil, and water industry. The work we do strengthens the communities we work and play in, with several key long term maintenance contracts throughout the Canterbury region and a number of civil projects currently being completed throughout the South Island. About the role | Ko te kaupapa Come and join our dedicated team working as an operator and laborer at the Resource Recovery Park (RRP) based in Rolleston. In this varied, hands‑on role, you will be responsible for both operating plant and undertaking general laboring duties to support the safe, efficient, and tidy operation of the RRP. Your work will include operating fixed and mobile plant such as loaders, hook trucks, and mobile shredders, as well as carrying out manual tasks assisting with the day‑to‑day running of the facility. We are looking for an honest, self‑motivated, and conscientious person who understands current health and safety practices, demonstrates excellent communication skills, and has a “hands‑on” approach.
