Contract Project Manager

Job Overview FTC or hourly contract position in Healthcare. Contract until end of the year with potential extension. The organization is a large public healthcare provider with a clear long‑term technology roadmap. The team is small and well knit. Work is flexible, requiring a minimum of three days a week in office, and can be based at Ellerslie, Takapuna or Manukau. Salary: $140,000–$160,000 p.a. NZD for FTC; $100–$120 per hour for hourly roles, depending on experience. Compensation is negotiable for the best fit with Planview PPM experience and healthcare industry exposure. Responsibilities Lead migration of an existing system to a new Planview Project Portfolio Management (PPM) system. Deliver Planview PPM changes and expansions over time. Work on workflow and ticketing for the Clinical Product Team. Manage workload allocation: first 3 months split 50% Planview PPM, 50% Workflow Ticketing. Qualifications 10+ years’ experience as a Project Manager (non‑negotiable). Strong background in system/application projects with operational processes, not infrastructure or networking. Experience with Planview Project Portfolio Management system (highly preferred). Understanding of waterfall and agile governance frameworks and portfolio management. Stakeholder‑management experience in Healthcare / Clinical / Government / Clinical Procurement domain (preferred). Valid New Zealand work visa is a prerequisite.
