Opportunity Accountant or Senior Accountant to join our Private Enterprise team in Hamilton. Utilize new technology and processes to deliver accurate and timely enterprise technical services. Own delivery of your work and contribute to the resolution of complex compliance accounting and tax issues that result in client satisfaction. Join our national specialist team, gaining exposure to a broad client base and accelerated learning and development opportunities. Day To Day You Will Prepare annual financial statements, income tax returns and other compliance deliverables for a diverse portfolio of clients across a wide range of industries and entity types. Deliver high-quality technical compliance work, applying accounting and tax knowledge to resolve issues and ensure accurate outcomes for clients. Build strong relationships with engagement teams across the business and contribute to the efficient delivery of compliance services. Support the development of junior team members through coaching, knowledge sharing and review of work completed. Contribute to our high-performance team culture with an innovative approach to the delivery of technical accounting and compliance services. Identify opportunities to improve processes, drive efficiencies and support the continued evolution of our Delivery & Data Excellence team. About You 2–3+ years of relevant professional accounting compliance experience. Working towards completion of, or have completed, a tertiary degree in Accounting. Ideally holding or working towards CAANZ or CPA membership, or membership of a relevant overseas professional body. Competent user of MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint and accounting systems. Ability to deal with multiple tasks concurrently. Professional approach to work and strong client focus. A team player that values input and support from the team but can also work autonomously. Excellent communication skills. Strong organizational/time management skills. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
