2999 - Commercial Manager- Dunedin

Lead the Commercial Division within the Dunedin Branch Enviro NZ is looking for a proactive, self-starting Commercial Manager to lead the Commercial Division within the Dunedin Branch. What you’ll do You will be responsible for the organisation and supervision of the Commercial Division, including the operational activities of collection vehicles, workers (employees, temps and contractors), asset management, customer administration and service. You will manage existing key accounts and desired accounts, and work with the Sales team to generate new business opportunities from existing customers. You will ensure compliance with corporate policy at branch level, including Driver Quality Procedure, Drug and Alcohol Policy, Contractor Management and Fleet Policy, and support Health & Safety requirements including incident reporting, investigations, audits, and corrective actions. You will work with the Regional Manager to support business planning, forecasting, and financial expectations, and ensure the branch has the necessary plant and equipment. What you’ll bring Experience in a multi-faceted operational leadership role in transport, logistics, or a similar fast-paced environment Proven experience managing large teams and operational activities Strong understanding of compliance, governance, and risk management Experience in fleet, logistics, routing, and asset management Strong customer relationship and account management capability Sound commercial and financial understanding, including forecasting and operational planning Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities calmly and effectively Clear and effective communication across operational and customer environments Applicants must be a New Zealand Citizen or Resident to be eligible for this role.
