About the Role The primary function of this position is to participate in and maintain an efficient, high quality Ultrasound Services for Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau: Perform appropriately requested examinations, producing quality images in accordance with good professional practice and the relevant protocols. Ensure that all statistical information is entered into the Radiology information system in an accurate and timely manner. Assist with supervision, support and education to other sonographers including students within the service. From Whangarei to Dargaville or the Bay of Islands to Kaitaia, theres nothing routine about working in Northland. For more information on living and working in Northland, click here About you As a Sonographer in our Radiology Department, you will need to have: A recognised/accredited academic qualification NZ Registered Medical Radiation Technologist in Ultrasound Current Annual Practising Certificate Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a multidisciplinary team.
