Our spacious and vibrant building, with a large outdoor area and established trees, provides the perfect setting for tamariki to explore. We hold a termly event that all whānau are invited to, so that relationships are developed and strengthened. Silverstream was the first kindergarten in the Upper Hutt area and we have a strong sense of community. We are near Silverstream Village and benefit from local amenities including proximity to both train and bus routes. We have a close relationship with both local schools, Silverstream and Pinehaven, and a strong transition to school process. We encourage children to learn through play, to explore different experiences and to develop social skills within a warm caring environment. Our teachers work with the children, listening to them, extending their thinking and supporting them to work with each other. Our programme grows from children’s interests. We make sure each child has the opportunity to follow their interests in a supported way during the day’s session. We are licensed for 60 children aged 2 years and over. Our sessions operate from 8.30 – 2.30 Monday - Friday. You will join our team of 7 other teachers. #J-18808-Ljbffr
