The Opportunity We are looking for a commercially minded Key Account Manager to support and grow Anker Innovations’ retail and channel presence in New Zealand . This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys working closely with customers, executing growth plans, and gradually taking on greater account ownership. You will manage day‑to‑day account operations while also contributing to new business development opportunities as the business continues to scale locally. What You Will Do Account Support & Commercial Execution Support the day‑to‑day management of key retail and distribution accounts in New Zealand. Represent Anker Innovations in customer meetings, including range reviews and buying discussions, with exposure to commercial negotiation over time. Build and maintain strong working relationships with buyers, planners and retail stakeholders. Support sales performance tracking and contribute to revenue and distribution growth initiatives. Retail Marketing & In‑Store Execution Coordinate retail marketing initiatives with customers to support product visibility and demand. Support the execution of product launches, promotions and in‑store display activities across key accounts. Work with internal marketing teams to ensure effective use of channel marketing investments. Business Development & Channel Expansion Support new business opportunities and assist in opening new retail or channel discussions. Contribute to range expansion, new product listings and category development initiatives.Identify whitespace opportunities across online and offline retail channels. Track account performance, prepare basic reporting, and convert data into actionable insights. Monitor competitor activity and market trends, sharing insights to support commercial and marketing decisions. Act as a key liaison between retail customers and internal teams across sales operations, marketing and supply chain. Operations & Supply Chain Coordination Support demand forecasting, stock flow and inventory health in collaboration with supply chain partners. Work with order management and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of customer requirements. Assist in identifying risks and opportunities related to stock availability and product lifecycle. What We’re Looking For 3+ years’ experience in sales, account management or customer‑facing commercial roles. Exposure to consumer electronics, FMCG or retail‑driven industries is preferred. Experience working with retail customers or distributors in New Zealand is an advantage. Comfortable participating in customer discussions and learning commercial negotiation skills. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and follow‑through. Commercially curious, eager to learn, and motivated to grow with the business.
