About the Role As a vital member of our ED Administrative Support team, you will ensure our department is covered 24 hours / 7 days, working a rotating roster of early, late, and night shifts. The job requires flexibility and adaptability. During the initial training phase, you will gain experience across all shift types. Shift Schedule Hours for this role will be 64 hours per fortnight on a rotating roster covering 24 hour, 7 day operations. ED shifts: Early: 06:45–15:15 OR 07:45–16:15 OR 09:30–18:00 hours Late: 15:00–23:30 hours Night: 23:00–07:00 hours Responsibilities Provide exceptional reception and administration support to ensure smooth flow of patients. Meticulously maintain patient documentation. About You To excel in this role, you will have a positive attitude, a friendly approach to customer service, and the ability to quickly master new tasks while multi-tasking in a dynamic clinical environment. Essential Qualifications Previous experience in administration. Fast, accurate data entry skills (30+ words per minute). High degree of computer literacy. Ability to work confidently and autonomously. Full flexibility to work across early, late, and night shifts. Experience with hospital management systems and a working knowledge of medical terminology is an advantage.
