Full Stack Senior Developer - Visa Spend Clarity at Visa

Role Overview The Opportunity: At Visa, a Full Stack Senior Developer holds a key position at the Staff Software Engineer level, collaborating in a unified, cross-disciplinary scrum team focused on the product backlog. You will work alongside developers of intermediate and senior ability, as well as other team members and consultants. This role requires dedication to technical excellence, including writing code, testing, documentation, and team collaboration. You will be part of a team building the capabilities and services in Visa Spend Clarity to deliver scalable and robust solutions worldwide. Visa requires at least 3 days in office; expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. Responsibilities Develop .NET, SQL, and related front-end code (ReactJS). Participate in technical design in collaboration with other developers, architects, and UX designers. Peer review code. Follow coding style standards and guidelines. Use Test-Driven Development techniques. Write unit and integration automation tests. Write documentation. Share knowledge with other team members. Practice Agile scrum methodology. Contribute to improving team Agile processes. Participate in active learning with an open mind. Qualifications A good understanding of the Microsoft technology stack and its application to Visa Spend Clarity is required. Key technical skills include: .NET and .NET Core/Standard development in C# for REST-based Web APIs Microsoft SQL Server ASP.NET MVC 5, HTML, CSS, web standards (WAI-ARIA) JavaScript, React, TypeScript AWS cloud development, including cloud-native architectures, serverless computing, and services such as Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS Design patterns (CQRS, MVC, MVVM, Repository, etc.) Enterprise scale multi‑tenant Cloud/SaaS web environments Generative AI, LLMs, and integration of AI-powered solutions (GitHub Copilot, Cline, or similar) Source control (Git, Subversion) and continuous integration (TeamCity, etc.) DDD, TDD, SOLID principles Additional experience and soft skills: 5+ years’ professional software development experience Experience with transactional systems (banking, finance, telecommunications, etc.) Financial industry experience Experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban Leadership experience inspiring others and driving higher performance Ability to navigate complexity, solve ambiguous problems, and isolate essential elements Balancing commercial and technical considerations to achieve business outcomes Building and running internal platforms with a product‑led mindset Performance optimization and troubleshooting, especially on production systems Experience with enterprise distributed systems, SaaS applications, and regulated compliance environments Implementation of greenfield projects and evolution of legacy systems Tertiary qualification with relevant certifications is preferred Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Visa is an EEO Employer.
