Business Development Manager x2 – ERP / MRP Software Solutions Auckland based The Opportunity We're partnering with an established digital engineering and manufacturing solutions provider (30+ years in market, 100+ staff) as they launch a new MRP solution purpose-built for the ANZ manufacturing sector. Due to strong early momentum, they're now growing the go-to-market team and hiring two Business Development Managers to help capture demand across New Zealand. This is a rare "ground floor" opportunity, owning territory on a new product with significant investment behind it, live pipeline from day one, and strong inbound demand already building. Why This Role Stands Out New product launch with $2M+ investment behind it 80+ qualified leads already in play + daily inbound Untapped market – many prospects still operating on spreadsheets Deal sizes from $15K-$250K with short 4-6 week sales cycles Backed by pre-sales, delivery teams, and established referral channels Uncapped commission with realistic $350K–$400K earnings The Role You’ll take ownership of building pipeline, converting inbound demand, and landing new logos across the SME manufacturing space, before expanding into enterprise and adjacent sectors. Drive new business across the NZ manufacturing sector Run full-cycle, multi-stakeholder sales processes Engage with CEOs, COOs, CFOs, and Operations leaders Diagnose challenges across supply chain, production, inventory, and planning Position a value‑led, solution-based offering (MRP + ERP integrations + services) Build and execute territory and pursuit strategies Work closely with pre‑sales and technical specialists to close deals What They're Looking For 3-5+ years selling B2B software solutions (ERP/MRP experience highly regarded, but strong SaaS/complex solution sellers also encouraged to apply) Strong new business hunter mentality Proven ability to manage complex, multi-threaded sales cycles Commercially sharp, comfortable building ROI‑led business cases Experience selling into manufacturing, supply chain, or operations teams is a strong advantage Exposure to structured sales methodologies (MEDDPICC, Challenger, etc.) is a plus The Profile This suits someone who: Wants to own a market opportunity early Thrives in a growth‑stage, high‑performance environment Is motivated by earning potential and autonomy Can operate strategically while still executing day‑to‑day sales Interested?
