About us Mary Potter Hospice provides specialist palliative care services for people living in Wellington, Porirua and Kāpiti. We provide equitable, compassionate, patient and whānau‑centred, free‑of‑charge hospice care for patients, families, whānau and carers in the places they call home, and at our Inpatient Unit in Newtown. About the role As part of the Fundraising, Marketing and Communications team, the Fundraiser – Events & Community Partnerships helps build the community support that makes Mary Potter Hospice's care and services possible. You will lead fundraising events and build meaningful relationships with schools, community groups, local businesses, volunteers and supporters. Through these connections and activities, you will help grow awareness, participation and vital income, ensuring compassionate hospice care remains free of charge for patients and whānau. Working within a collaborative and integrated team, you will contribute to supporter engagement initiatives across fundraising programmes, helping deliver a coordinated, values‑aligned and supporter‑centred experience.
