We provide equitable,compassionate,patient- and whānau- centred,free-of-charge hospice care for patients, families, whānau and carers in the places they call home, and at our Inpatient Unit in Newtown. Job Description About the role As part of the Fundraising, Marketing and Communications team, the Fundraiser – Events & Community Partnerships helps build the community support that makes Mary Potter Hospice's care and services possible. You will lead fundraising events and build meaningful relationships with schools, community groups, local businesses, volunteers and supporters. Through these connections and activities, you will help grow awareness, participation and vital income, ensuring compassionate hospice care remains free of charge for patients and whānau. Working within a collaborative and integrated team, you will contribute to supporter engagement initiatives across fundraising programmes, helping deliver a coordinated, values-aligned and supporter-centred experience. Desired Skills and Experience About you You will bring: Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience Experience in fundraising, events, community engagement or relationship management roles Strong relationship-building and communication skills Experience coordinating events, projects or community initiatives Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Experience working collaboratively with volunteers and stakeholders Experience using CRM or database systems Competent user of Microsoft Office What we offer: A genuine commitment to equity, cultural responsiveness, and Te Tiriti o Waitangi Permanent fulltime position based in Newtown 5 days of carers leave and bereavement leave Ready to apply?
