Fixed Term until 30 November 2027 Based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara So that the foundations of ancestral lands may be solid, benefitting Māori from our past, present and future alike. This is Te Tumu Paeroa, guardian, support and advancer of the mana of Māori land everywhere. He angitūtanga: About the Role As our Agile Delivery Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of driving momentum, collaboration, and impactful delivery across our product teams. This is an exciting opportunity to shape how work flows across the organisation - bringing people together, removing roadblocks, and helping teams deliver meaningful outcomes with clarity and confidence. Working closely with the Agile Delivery Lead, Product Owners, and stakeholders across the business, you’ll play a key role in creating a high-performing, agile environment where teams can do their best work. You’ll also play an important role in strengthening agile ways of working across Te Tumu Paeroa. From facilitating key hui to supporting continuous improvement, you’ll enable collaboration, progress, and positive team culture. If you’re passionate about agile delivery and want to contribute to meaningful mahi that supports Māori landowners, this is a role where you can make a real difference. Main responsibilities and qualifications Facilitating agile hui, including stand-ups, planning, reviews and retrospectives. Maintaining team boards, backlogs, tools and documentation. Coordinating daily delivery activity, schedules and dependencies. Tracking progress, identify blockers, and elevate issues as needed. Providing clear reporting on priorities, progress and outcomes. Capturing retrospective insights and supporting continuous improvement. Supporting agile practice and change across the team. 7+ years’ experience in Agile delivery, coaching and/or project management in complex, multi-team environments. Proven success delivering large-scale business and technology initiatives. Experience supporting Agile transformation and embedding adaptive ways of working. Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to support teams and individuals. Experience working across both Agile and Waterfall environments is an advantage. Eligibility to work in New Zealand is essential. Pae Tahi- Te Whakahua: a desire and ability to practise correct pronunciation of Te Reo Māori (essential). Pae Tahi- Nō Ia Rā: an understanding and living of Tikanga Māori on a day-to-day level, for example, the removing of shoes before entering a whare, washing hands at the urupa and not sitting on tables (essential).
