Dairy Assistant (Farm and Cheesery) - Casual Join the team at Hōhepa Hawke's Bay and help care for our biodynamic dairy farm while contributing to something truly meaningful. Our BioGro‑certified farms in Clive and Poraiti are an important part of our community, supplying milk for our artisan cheesery while creating opportunities for the people we support. About the role We're looking for reliable, practical people to join our dairy farm team on a casual basis . Whether you have dairy farming experience or simply enjoy working outdoors and being part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities Milking, feeding calves, and in paddocksand in the dairy shed operations Animal care and welfare General support on dairy farm work asneeded Mowing, weed control, and basic fence and paddocks maintenance Irrigation and effluent management General support in the cheesery, including daily cleaning and hygiene process of facilities and equipment, as well as packing, labelling, and bottling Hours will vary depending on farm needs and the season, and may include some early starts, weekends, or public holidays.
