We embrace a diverse and inclusive workforce. About the Role Registered Nurse – Endoscopy Suite (Fixed Term 12 months, 0.6FTES). Role based in Sunny Nelson location. A key position in a small team supporting patients undergoing diagnostic, surveillance & bowel screening procedures. Team / Service / Location The Endoscopy Suite consists of one treatment room with the recovery area situated in the Day Stay Unit at Nelson Hospital. It is a small professional team led by a Clinical Nurse Coordinator and focused on providing a caring and professional environment, delivering quality care and extended nursing practice. Nelson is one of New Zealand's top lifestyle destinations offering a wide variety of leisure pursuits, beaches, rivers and national parks. Responsibilities Care for patients before, during and after their endoscopy procedure. Provide nursing care in the Endoscopy Suite and recovery area. Qualifications NZ Registered Nurse with a current NZNC practising certificate. Post registration nursing experience preferably in endoscopy and/or acute care. Team player who enjoys keeping up to date with clinical practice. Excellent organisational and time management skills and a commitment to quality.
