Workplace Administrator - Regional Pacific Cultural Advisory Team Role will be based within our Regional Pacific Cultural Advisor team at our Otahuhu Site Competitive salary ranging from $57,096 to $62,773, depending on experience Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children has a commitment to putting tamariki and rangatahi at the heart of what we do. Come and join our great, supportive, and fun team and grow your administration experience to new heights with our team as we provide statutory care and protection services. Be responsible for the administration needs of kaimahi including but not limited to the following: Assistance with note taking, recording and meeting scheduling Financial processes, vehicle maintenance, keeping administration files updated Data collection, developing and maintaining systems support Liaising with vendors, casual staff, and other stakeholders Working with various cultural groups and people from different backgrounds Booking rooms, answering phones, and assisting on the reception desk Organising welcomes/whakatau for newcomers and induction Dealing with critical scenarios in a calm, professional manner Key requirements of the role include: Full clean New Zealand drivers licence is required Supporting the team with all aspects of Health and Safety Possession of a strong computer and IT knowledge Administration skills such as typing, reporting and responding to team needs Cultural awareness and an understanding of Tikanga Māori principles A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi Strong time management Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt to your audience Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture Nŋ u te rourou | What's in it for you Oranga Tamariki offer a step based remuneration package, that offers progression annually for experience through tenure.
