Hans Herzog is a small family‑owned certified organic wine estate producing one of New Zealand’s most acclaimed collections of handcrafted wines. Every wine is grown, crafted and bottled on the estate by renowned vigneron and winemaker Hans Herzog. We are seeking passionate and personable Seasonal Wine Ambassadors to join our team from October/November 2026 through to April 2027. This is a rare opportunity to become part of a small artisan wine estate, sharing our wines and story with visitors from around the world while gaining first‑hand insight into life behind the scenes from vineyard to vintage. The role includes: Hosting premium wine experiences and tastings Presenting our wines with confidence, knowledge and authenticity Cellar door sales and customer care Assisting with wine club and customer communications Supporting seasonal vineyard and harvest activities when required We are looking for someone who: Has a genuine passion for fine wine Enjoys engaging with people from around the world Has hospitality, sommelier, wine retail or wine tourism experience Is confident recommending and selling premium wines Is organised, reliable and able to work independently Holds a valid New Zealand work visa or is eligible for a Working Holiday Visa What makes this role unique is the opportunity to experience the complete journey from vine to wine while working closely with a small family team dedicated to producing wines of uncompromising quality.
