Position: Heavy Truck Driver Location: Waikato Type: Full-time / Permanent Pay Range: $33 to $35 per hour Days: Monday to Friday Hours: Guaranteed at least 30 hours per week The Company Our client is a well-established transport and logistics provider specialising in container transportation services. Key Responsibilities Operate a Class 5 truck with a variety of trailers Ensure all loads are secured and comply with height, weight, and width regulations Follow all traffic laws and company policies at all times Maintain accurate logbooks and complete all required documentation Report any incidents, damage, or infringements promptly Communicate with dispatch, operations, and customers professionally Keep trucks and equipment clean, maintained, and in good working order Provide friendly and professional customer service Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of proven relevant truck driving experience Current Class 5 driver’s licence (or ability to convert international equivalent) Experience operating heavy truck and trailer units Strong understanding of load restraint and transport compliance Good communication skills and ability to work in a team Reliable, punctual, and well‑presented Strong commitment to safety and following procedures Ability to complete accurate records and documentation Pass a pre‑employment drug & alcohol test on request Provide a current criminal record check on request #J-18808-Ljbffr
