Storeperson/Customer Service Representative Looking for a hands‑on role where you can build your career in the rural sector? Due to ongoing growth, we’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and motivated Storeperson / Customer Service Representative to join our friendly Darfield team. This is a varied role where you’ll be just as comfortable in the yard driving a forklift as you are talking with customers and helping them find the right solutions. It’s ideally suited to someone with storeperson or forklift experience, but just as importantly, to someone who enjoys working with people. Don’t have all the experience yet? That’s okay. We’re happy to train the right person who brings a great attitude, a willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in the agricultural sector. We also welcome applications from graduates or those starting their careers who are keen to get their foot in the door and grow with PGG Wrightson. What you’ll be doing: Managing the flow of inwards and outwards goods and keeping our storage areas well organised Ordering, unpacking and merchandising stock Providing friendly, practical advice and service to customers Processing sales and helping customers find the right products Delivering goods to farms when required Supporting the Store Manager with day‑to‑day operations What you’ll bring: Storeperson and/or forklift experience (preferred, not essential) A positive attitude and willingness to learn Confidence interacting with customers and providing great service Good physical fitness (there’s some heavy lifting involved) An interest in, or passion for, the rural sector A full, clean New Zealand driver licence Bonus points for forklift certification or Dangerous Goods knowledge, but if not, we can train you.
