Senior Substation Lead & Technical Director - Hybrid

Opportunity We are hiring for two senior engineering roles in New Zealand's transmission and distribution sector: Lead Substation Engineer and Technical Director – Substations. Locations Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch are preferred locations, with Hamilton and Palmerston North also considered. What You'll Do Lead the delivery of transmission and distribution projects. Act as a key technical interface for New Zealand clients. Support substation renewal, replacement and new‑build projects. Build strong client relationships and contribute to business growth. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across New Zealand, Australia and the Philippines. Provide technical leadership, project direction and mentoring to engineering teams. What You'll Bring Lead Substation Engineer Approximately 12+ years of relevant experience. Strong transmission and distribution substation engineering experience in primary, secondary or protection systems. Proven client and project delivery capability. Technical Director – Substations Approximately 20+ years of relevant experience. Recognised technical leadership within the industry.
