The service supports a population of approximately 110,000 across a mix of urban, rural and tourist communities, with care delivered through Rotorua Hospital (a 400+ bed secondary hospital) and Taupō Hospital. The General Medicine Department provides acute inpatient and outpatient services with a broad and varied case mix. You will work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, gaining strong clinical exposure in general internal medicine and working closely with senior clinicians in a well-supported regional centre with links to tertiary services in Hamilton.
