We are looking for a skilled, hands‑on professional in Whakatāne to lead the on‑site installation of high‑end, architectural aluminium/steel modular structures. This role is perfect for a builder or structural installer who loves working outdoors, takes pride in clean lines, and enjoys the satisfaction of transforming a property's exterior layout with sleek, modern features. What You’ll Be Doing Setting Out & Alignment: Measuring, leveling, and establishing perfect runs across varying terrains to prepare for structural placement. Securing & Anchoring: Inground digging, concreting, and securely mounting upright aluminium posts and modular panels into a variety of ground types and surfaces. Precision Assembly: Using standard site power tools to cut, adjust, and flawlessly assemble modular components on site. Handover Perfection: Ensuring all runs are perfectly straight, plumb, secure, and visually immaculate. What We’re Looking For Strong Installation Background: Proven experience in building, structural landscaping, or commercial installations where levels, plumb lines, and solid anchoring are critical. Tool Competency: Highly confident using standard site hand and power tools for precise onsite adjustments. Physical Fitness & Drive: You enjoy active outdoor work, getting stuck into ground prep, and handling premium materials. Eye for Detail: You notice when something is even a millimetre off and take the time to make it perfect.
