Registered Nurse - Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU) Here's an opportunity for an RN to join our supportive PACU team at Allevia Hospital Ascot in Remuera, Auckland on a permanent 0.8 FTE basis. You will work rostered shifts between 0730 and 2030, primarily Mon‑Sat. There is an overnight on‑call roster, however no rostered night shifts. We have 12 ORs at Ascot and theatre cases include: General, Orthopaedic, Spinal, Neuro, Gynae, Plastics, ENT, Urology (incl Da Vinci Robotics). Our patients are both adults and children. We have PACUs across 2 floors and a day stay unit which our team flexibly work between. Registered as an RN in NZ with a current APC Ideally a minimum of 3 years PACU or similar experience within a NZ hospital (or similar e.g. Australia, UK, Ireland, Canada) Strong acute care skills – allowing you to think on your feet; make effective decisions and advocate for your patients to ensure optimal outcomes Great communication skills and the ability to cope with a busy and ever changing environment Patient's aren't the only people we care for, so as a valued staff member at Allevia Hospitals, you will enjoy excellent pay rates (as per our collective agreement with the NZNO), free parking, paid development opportunities, every Christmas & New Year off, and a huge range of other benefits.
