We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager or commercially minded refrigeration industry professional to drive new business growth for EcoChill, one of New Zealand's leading commercial refrigeration specialists. Operating throughout the North Island, EcoChill delivers innovative commercial refrigeration solutions across supermarket, retail, industrial, food production and commercial sectors. With a strong reputation for technical expertise, project delivery and customer service, EcoChill continues to expand its market presence and customer partnerships. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing national business and play a key role in shaping the next phase of EcoChill's commercial growth. Core responsibilities Generate new business opportunities across commercial refrigeration markets Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline across key customer sectors Build and manage relationships with major clients, franchise groups and retail chains Identify opportunities for upselling and cross‑selling services and solutions Support the preparation and delivery of quotations, proposals and tenders Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful project handovers and delivery Maintain accurate CRM reporting, forecasting and pipeline management Promote the EcoChill brand through networking and attending industry events Identify emerging market opportunities and support strategic business growth Deliver revenue growth while maintaining targeted gross profit margins Candidate Profile To be successful in this role, you will bring proven experience in business development, account management or technical sales within commercial refrigeration, HVAC, construction or a related industry. You will be relationship‑focused, commercially driven and confident working across a large geographic region. The ability to identify customer needs, develop tailored solutions and convert opportunities into long‑term partnerships will be essential.
