Senior iOS Developer

Position Overview Auckland’s home to the IDEXX global software centre of excellence where we develop a portfolio of cloud platforms and applications. We’re seeking a skilled Senior iOS Developer to join our high achieving Auckland team within a squad of keen software engineers focused on one of our products, SmartFlow. Responsibilities Design, build and maintain advanced iOS (iPad) applications using Swift & Objective‑C. Lead the full development lifecycle from concept to deployment, ensuring features are intuitive and performant on iPad devices. Ensure the performance, quality and responsiveness of the application. Integrate with backend services, APIs and cloud‑based solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, bugs and crashes quickly. Mentor & guide junior developers, providing code reviews and technical leadership. Qualifications Proven experience as a Senior iOS developer. Technical people influencer with experience in converting Objective‑C to Swift. Experience with principles and practices related to cloud technologies. Practical knowledge of Systems and/or software design. Agile processes including Scrum, Kanban or others. Previous experience in a scaled SaaS environment is hugely desirable.
