Here you will have the opportunity to learn how to sandblast and powder coat, and be operating in the warehouse with the forklift daily! Job Description Based in Rolleston and reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, we’re looking for a reliable and motivated warehouse operator to join us in a full-time permanent capacity. If you are an experienced forklift operator and have a desire to upskill, we have an exciting opportunity for you! This role includes the ability to learn how to sandblast and powder coat. You will have a rotating shift of sandblasting Thursday, Friday then Monday to Wednesday, and forklift operating the following week. No weekend work required! In this role you will be; Assistingthe warehouse team with receipt, storage and retrieval, and timely dispatch of goods. Powder Coating steel and/or nylon products Dealing with risk and compliance paperwork Understanding Health & Safety Compliance The following attributes are essential for the right person: Reliability and having the right work ethic. Team player with a can-do attitude. Current NZ clean full driver's license (F-endorsement – desirable). Current forklift & reach truck license – OSH Previous experience with Sandblasting & Powder Coating would be advantageous, however we are willing to train and develop someone with the eagerness and desire to learn & be part of a great team. Please note, Sandblasting means you will be required to wear full PPE gear head to toe.
