About the role The Finance team keeps Revolut moving with clarity and confidence. From accounting to strategic support, they work across the business to assess risk, guide decisions, and drive growth. Their insight shapes everything from daily operations to long-term plans and plays a key role in how we scale. We’re looking for a Finance Manager to join our growing team in New Zealand. You'll focus on day-to-day financial reporting, tax compliance, reconciliations, and support the audit process to ensure the business receives high-quality, timely financial data. What you’ll be doing Managing the monthly accounting close process, bookkeeping, variance analysis, and controls, utilising NetSuite and other internally developed accounting tools Owning reconciliations, financial controls, and operating SOX frameworks Managing and completing local statutory audits Assisting in the preparation of the company’s disclosure statement Playing a key role in supporting end-to-end regulatory reporting Collaborating with our global Tax team on VAT and CIT filings Acting as a point of contact for local finance-related matters Improving and building processes to boost the efficiency and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting through both automation and control measures What you’ll need A bachelor's degree or equivalent To be a Chartered Accountant (CA or local equivalent) 5+ years of experience in a related position (or 4+ years of post-qualified experience working in the finance team of a bank, financial services, fintech, or high-growth tech firm) Experience as an external auditor with some financial services industry experience, or as a finance manager or accountant in a large organisation Solid accounting and reconciliation skills Knowledge of local direct/indirect tax regulations and banking requirements in New Zealand A solid understanding of how to apply IFRS standards and local GAAP compliance Expertise in building and optimising processes Familiarity with NetSuite and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL) Nice to have Experience in a CA firm or financial control within financial services or banking Experience in a similar role managing entities Building a global financial super app isn’t enough.
