Supermarket Assistant As a Supermarket Assistant you will help keep our customers satisfied by providing excellent service and a passion for food. Key Responsibilities Stock replenishment – ensure shelves remain full and products are in the right place at the right time. Fulfill online customer orders ready for delivery. Reduce wastage by following product due‑diligence and markdowns to products that are nearing sell‑by dates. Support the wider shop team with checkout, Click & Collect, on‑demand orders and other tasks as needed. Maintain a safe and tidy working environment through general shop‑keeping duties. Essential skills / experience required Effective communication skills to work well with customers and team members. Must be 18 years or over. Desirable skills / experience Experience in a customer‑facing retail role. Up‑to‑date knowledge and strong interest in food and drink trends. Flexible approach to support the entire branch. Benefits and Conditions Night Premium of £3.75 per hour for hours worked between 22:00 and 06:00. Pay: £13.00 (£13.25 after 90 days). Contract: Temporary. Hours: Part‑time, 28.5 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 20:00–06:00). Both existing and new partners enrolling on Enhanced Hours Premium arrangements will receive the Night Premium.
