Job Description
Key Responsibilities Conduct rapid needs assessments in displacement settings such as refugee camps, informal settlements, and post‑disaster zones. Advocate policy at intergovernmental bodies by drafting position papers, delivering oral statements, and monitoring treaty compliance. Design and manage community development programs, including building local resilience initiatives. Provide cross‑cultural case management, navigating legal statuses, arranging repatriation logistics, and securing services across multiple jurisdictions. Build capacity for local service systems through training, curriculum development, and strengthening referral networks. Essential Qualifications Master of Social Work (MSW) with an international focus or equivalent advanced practice degree. Professional U.S. social work license (LCSW or LMSW) from a licensed state. Domestic field experience at BSW level or higher, preferably in community organizations, refugee resettlement agencies, or government social services. Proficiency in at least one additional language, beyond English. Understanding of international regulations, sector dynamics, and the cultural, legal, and service infrastructure of target countries.
