General Practitioner | GP Registrar | Nurse Practitioner Whanganui and Palmerston North Full-time, part-time, contract, locum, remote and flexible options available Living Waters Medical is seeking General Practitioners, GP Registrars and Nurse Practitioners to join our growing primary care team across Whanganui and Palmerston North. We welcome interest from: General Practitioners GP Registrars Doctors currently in GP training or considering general practice as a future pathway Nurse Practitioners with primary care experience Fellows and Members of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners We are open to a wide range of working arrangements, including full-time, part-time, permanent, contract, locum, remote, hybrid or flexible sessions. About the role Depending on your scope, experience and working arrangement, the role may include: General primary care consultations Acute and routine patient presentations Chronic disease management and preventative care Results review, repeat prescribing and follow-up care Remote or telehealth consultations where appropriate Working collaboratively with our wider clinical and support teams About you You will be a registered General Practitioner, GP Registrar, doctor currently in GP training or considering general practice as a future pathway, or Nurse Practitioner with a commitment to high-quality primary care. You will ideally bring: Current New Zealand registration and practising certificate, or eligibility to obtain this Experience in general practice, urgent care or primary care Strong clinical judgement and communication skills A practical, patient-centred approach A commitment to accessible, quality healthcare Overseas applicants are welcome to apply, however applicants must meet the relevant New Zealand registration and practising requirements. Experience with Indici is helpful, but not essential.
