Housekeeping Coordinator (Fixed-Term) At Arohanui Hospice we take pride in maintaining clean, welcoming spaces and we are looking for a Housekeeping Coordinator to take the lead in keeping our Heretaunga Street facilities running at their best. In this hands‑on role, you’ll work alongside a dedicated team of volunteers, ensuring our facilities—including our Inpatient Unit—are clean, well‑organised, and fully stocked with essential supplies. This role is being offered on a Fixed Term for three months. 20 hours per week 7am to 11am Monday to Friday What you’ll be doing: Coordinating and supporting our volunteer housekeeping roster Overseeing and participating in the cleaning schedule across all Heretaunga Street facilities Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation Managing procurement and ordering of housekeeping, cleaning, and linen supplies Being a reliable, friendly point of contact for all housekeeping needs About you: Highly organised with strong attention to detail Confident communicator who can work across teams Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or volunteer coordination Able to prioritise and manage competing demands Proactive, solution-focused, and adaptable What we offer: Fixed-term opportunity with immediate impact Supportive team environment Opportunity to contribute to operational improvements Why join us?
