HVAC Installer / Refrigeration Mechanic

Earn 45 to 60 AUD/hr on major Brisbane multi-res projects. Work secured to end of 2028, RDO every 4th Friday, and vehicle provided. Pay & Benefits Earn 45 to 60 AUD per hour on permanent wages depending on experience plus 12% super Overtime at time and a half after 38 hours in the cycle, double time after 10 hours on any single day Saturdays at time and a half for the first 2 hours, double time afterwards Work secured until the end of 2028 with a strong pipeline already being built beyond that RDO every fourth Friday built into the roster 41 days of paid time off per year: 20 annual leave, 11 RDOs, and 10 public holidays Vehicle provided Premium multi-residential projects across Brisbane CBD and inner suburbs on 12 to 40 storey buildings for major developers 30-year established business with a loyal, long-tenured team and a clear pathway to leading hand and supervisory roles Brisbane lifestyle: great city, warm weather, and strong economy The Role You will be based in Banyo, Brisbane, working across medium to large scale multi-residential construction projects in the Brisbane CBD and inner suburbs. This is commercial and multi-residential HVAC installation work on serious developments for major property developers. The expectation is that you can read mechanical services drawings, work independently on site, and contribute positively to a large, professional team. Installing DX units, VRF and VRV systems, and refrigerant pipework in multi-storey buildings Reading and interpreting mechanical services drawings and equipment schedules Working across major Brisbane CBD and inner suburb development sites Commissioning and testing installed HVAC and refrigeration systems Working collaboratively as part of a large, professional trade team Contributing to quality outcomes on premium multi-residential developments Qualifications Trade Certificate in Refrigeration and current ARCtick Licence, non-negotiable Current White Card and valid driver's licence, both required Experience installing DX units, VRF and VRV systems, and refrigerant pipework in commercial or multi-residential buildings strongly preferred Ability to read and interpret mechanical services drawings and equipment schedules Positive attitude and genuine willingness to work as part of a team, Dan's number one filter Genuine commitment to relocating to Brisbane long-term Why This Role Strong hourly rates with overtime on top, work secured to the end of 2028, and 41 days of paid time off per year on premium Brisbane developments is a combination that is genuinely hard to find in the HVAC trade.
