Senior Registered Nurse | Palmerston North Village Permanent, full-time position - 40 hours week. Leadership role About the role We are seeking a Senior Registered Nurse join our fabulous team at Palmerston North Village. This is a Permanent, full-time position, working 40 hours per week from Sunday to Thursday . You will be working on the floor for 3 days and off the floor (supervising RNs and Caregivers) for 2 days. Some of the great things you will be doing: Supporting, identifying, and upskilling the needs and requirements of the care staff, as well as providing appropriate direction and delegation Using your clinical skills to access and identify the needs of our residents to be able to formulate/review individual care plans. Ensure compassionate and excellent quality of care is provided to all residents. Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills Working closely with the Nurse Manager to undertake risk management, quality projects and improvements Supporting the Nurse Manager with the on-call roster About you We are looking for an experience Senior Registered Nurse who can deliver outstanding services to our residents and possess the essential skills and experience: Current Practicing Certificate and first aid certificate Strong nursing experience in aged care Current InterRai certification. Experience working in secure Dementia level of care Demonstrates excellent leadership and communication skills.
