Activities Assistant- Taieri Court, Mosgiel

Enliven Activities Assistant Mosgiel, Dunedin Part-time Permanent- 12 hours/week Make a difference to the well-being of older people. The Role You will work under the direction of the Activities Coordinator to support and provide meaningful activities that enhance personal dignity, quality of life, independence and connectedness for each resident. We have 33 residents living at Taieri Court, Mosgiel, at Rest Home Level Care. Hours: Permanent, Part-time; 12 hours per week to be worked 3 hours/day, 1330-1630hrs on Tuesday & Wednesday and 6hrs/day, 0930-1600hrs on Friday - with extra hours available to cover Annual Leave & Sick Leave. About You We would love you to have: A full driver's license Planning and organisational skills Interpersonal skills, including relationship building and advocacy skills A sense of humor/bright and bubbly Initiative and creativity Preferably, you will have previous experience interacting with older people, however full support will be given.
