About The Opportunity A fast-moving technology services provider operating across Japan’s enterprise and data center ecosystems, we deliver mission-critical network infrastructure support for global firms with on-site presence. Our team ensures 24/7 uptime for enterprise-grade networks, cloud-connected data centers, and hybrid IT environments—where reliability, responsiveness, and hands-on execution are non-negotiable. Role & Responsibilities Perform on-site network hardware installation, configuration, and troubleshooting across enterprise campuses and data centers in Japan. Execute physical layer tasks: rack & stack servers, terminate fiber/copper cabling, deploy network switches/routers, and maintain patch panels. Respond to real-time network outages or performance issues with rapid diagnostics and resolution, escalating only when necessary. Collaborate with remote engineering teams to implement network changes, validate configurations, and document all interventions. Support vendor hardware deployments (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, HPE) and ensure compliance with client change control policies. Conduct post-incident reviews and recommend preventive measures to reduce repeat failures and improve SLA adherence. Skills & Qualifications Must-Have Cisco IOS Juniper JUNOS Network Cabling (Cat6, SFP, LC/SC) Switching & Routing Protocols (VLAN, OSPF, BGP) Data Center Racking & Cable Management Network Monitoring Tools (PRTG, SolarWinds, Nagios) ITIL Incident Management Japanese Business Communication (N3 or higher) Preferred CCNA Certification Experience with Arista or HPE Switches familiarity with DCIM tools (e.g., Nlyte, Sunbird) Benefits & Culture Highlights Work directly with Fortune 500 clients across Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya with clear career progression paths.
