2927 - RTS Operator - Tauranga RTS

We are currently recruiting for a RTS Operator working at our Refuse Transfer Stations based in Tauranga, reporting to the Branch Manager. This is a permanent fulltime role, 5 days a week including one weekend day. This is a great role with variety working in our Weighbridge, Recycling and Waste areas. You will greet incoming customers to the Refuse Transfer Station, assisting and directing Transfer Station users, ensuring that refuse and/or recycling is disposed of in the appropriate areas, managing traffic flow especially during peak periods. You will also undertake general yard duties which includes cleaning, litter control, management of the recycling and green wastes areas, and operating machinery. The ideal candidate for this role will possess: Strong customer service skills, the ability to interact well with our customers Ability to work as part of a team, be fit and like working outdoors Experience operating machinery i.e Forklift Forklift (F) endorsement preferred but not essential as training can be provided Health and Safety focus and a strong ability to multi-task Safety and wellbeing are paramount to us, so our recruitment process involves a Ministry of Justice criminal background check, and a pre-employment medical including drug test.
