About the Role An exciting opportunity is available for a highly motivated and innovative nurse for the role of Nurse Specialist with the Adult Congenital Heart Disease service (ACHD). Working as nurse specialist within the Adult Congenital Heart Disease service, you will be part of a dynamic, enthusiastic, positive and passionate multi-disciplinary team. You will provide specialist nursing advice, care and expertise, both in direct patient care and in support of other staff caring for Adults with congenital heart disease. The adult congenital heart disease (ACHD) service at ADHB provides a national service for patients over the age of 15 with congenital heart disease. This patient population includes the majority of patients who have undergone cardiac surgery during childhood. The ACHD service is part of the Paediatric and Congenital Cardiac Service with inpatient care being delivered on the Adult wards of Auckland City Hospital.
