About the Auckland Regional Forensic Psychiatry Service The Auckland Regional Forensic Psychiatry Service, known as the Mason Clinic, is the largest forensic mental health service in New Zealand. We serve the four Northern Districts Health Boards, all courts in the northern region and five prisons. The Service delivers clinical pathways to support recovery, enable individuals to live well and involve families. We are grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and are committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders. About the role This position is responsible for the provision of cleaning, orderly and meal serving at appropriate times in the Service. The role involves interacting with staff and service users, fostering an environment where they feel supported and valued. The role may require driving manual vehicles, so a current full driver’s licence is essential. Previous health‑related experience is an advantage. The successful candidate must be fit, energetic and available to work rotating shifts over seven days. Responsibilities Cleaning, maintaining order and serving meals at appropriate times. Interacting with staff and service users in a supportive manner. Driving manual vehicles when required. Providing a welcoming environment for the multidisciplinary team. Qualifications Current full driver’s licence. Previous health‑related experience preferred. Fit and energetic, able to work rotating 7‑day shifts.
