Additional $2.50 per hour for all weekend hours worked Fun, friendly and supportive team environment Ongoing training and development opportunities About The Role We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team at Charles Upham Retirement Village in Rangiora (30 mins from Christchurch City) as an Activity and Lifestyle Assistant in our Special Care Unit (Dementia Resthome) . This is a Full Time position working Tuesday - Saturday 0900-1730 hours (40 hours) . In this role you will: Deliver a program of recreational, diversional, and social and craft activities for residents Promote happiness, wellbeing and quality of life for all residents Work closely with, and support your colleagues About You Strong empathy Outstanding communication skills A reliable, friendly and professional manner Have Dementia Care (LCP) Level 4 or willing to attain as part of the job.
