About the Role The Sales Manager is a vital role reporting into the Area Sales Manager, managing accounts for a range of existing customers and developing new business across Auckland within a sales team of 4. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding our Chinese‑speaking client segment within NZ. Professional working proficiency in both English and Mandarin is highly desirable to effectively communicate with these stakeholders, build business relationships, and translate market feedback. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver on agreed sales targets and goals Support the Area Sales Manager in developing a sales plan in line with strategic objectives Constantly monitor performance against the plan and prepare relevant reports Develop and maintain a structured customer contact plan for new business opportunities and existing customers Conduct regular meetings to follow up on new business opportunities and provide direction to resolve customer issues Strong focus on identifying new business opportunities and projects, maintaining an accurate and up-to-date database. About You 5 years of proven experience in a sales role, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets Strong strategic planning and implementation skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with sales tools and systems Experience selling products and services within areas such as construction, manufacturing, mining, and especially cement/aggregates is highly desirable Professional working proficiency in both English and Mandarin is highly desirable Must hold full New Zealand work rights with no restrictions on hours worked or duration of employment Work Authorization Full New Zealand work rights are required with no restrictions on hours or duration of employment.
