Duties Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults Repairs and component replacements Attending breakdowns and field service work Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety The role is based in Hamilton where you'll enjoy a central North Island location with a strong agricultural economy, great schools, a relaxed lifestyle, and convenient access to Auckland, the Coromandel, and the Bay of Plenty. Skills Sought Relevant automotive trade qualification, preferably as a diesel technician Proven experience servicing and repairing forklifts or similar mobile equipment Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills Light Automotive Technicians with strong diagnostic and mechanical capabilities will be considered Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively Strong customer service and communication skills Clean, current driver’s licence Applications from those wanting to relocate from elsewhere within NZ are welcome, as are applications from those based offshore who meet the requirements.
