About the role As a Wealth Adviser at Fisher Funds, you will support clients with tailored, goals based advice that builds confidence, trust, and long term engagement across a diverse client base. You will deliver proactive, high quality financial advice, deepen relationships, retain and grow your portfolio, and identify opportunities to improve client outcomes. You’ll also contribute to regional Grow, Deepen, and Protect priorities, ensuring clients receive consistent, compliant, and meaningful engagement at every stage of their journey. As your capability grows, you’ll take on more complex client relationships, drive disciplined new business activity, and influence advice quality and conversion outcomes. You’ll work closely with Senior Wealth Advisers, Business Development Leads, and the wider regional team to strengthen performance, consistency, and client experience. This is a role for someone who is motivated, commercially confident, mature in their relationship management, and committed to delivering exceptional client outcomes. Key Responsibilities Build and grow a portfolio of clients by delivering personalised investment advice and exceptional service. Develop trusted, long-term relationships that support client retention, referrals, and business growth. Provide high-quality, compliant financial advice while supporting clients through key life stages and changing financial needs. Partner with Business Development Leads and regional team members to convert opportunities into lasting client relationships. Continue developing your technical expertise and advice capability while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team culture. Represent Fisher Funds professionally and help create a positive, inclusive, and client-focused environment. Skills & Experience Working towards, or holding, the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services Level 5 (Investment Strand). Sound knowledge of investment markets, wealth management products, and financial advice principles. Experience building strong client relationships and delivering excellent client outcomes. Strong communication, relationship management, and organisational skills. Commercially minded, with the ability to identify opportunities that create value for clients and the business.
