About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a physiotherapist to join our community physiotherapy team covering Morrinsville, Matamata & Te Aroha areas. This role includes visiting patients in their home and assessing, treating and managing a range of varied clinical presentations. This role would suit an experienced physiotherapist with the ability to independently manage a varied clinical caseload with skills in general mobility, balance and falls, and dealing with chronic neurological, MSK and respiratory conditions. The role requires the successful applicant to be adaptable to change, resourceful and flexible to service needs and to have a genuine passion for working with patients and their whānau on their health journey. Key Responsibilities Provide high quality physiotherapy services to referred clients and be responsible for treating patients/service users with respect, dignity, and compassion. Demonstrate a professional attitude and commitment to the team, practising within your scope of practice and ensuring effective communication occurs at all levels to achieve service objectives. Ensure the physiotherapy service delivery is enhanced and maintained. Provide agreed education and training for staff, physiotherapy students, clients and carers/whānau. Maintain accurate clinical documentation. About You NZ physiotherapy registration, and a current annual practising certificate. Current valid full New Zealand drivers licence. The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of the physiotherapy and wider multi-disciplinary team across a variety of environments. Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with patients, their whānau, and other health care professionals. Experience working in a community physiotherapy setting is desirable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
