Contract Software engineer (.Net, Blazor)

Role Overview Work for a top‑notch brand in the business insurance space across 26 countries with 11,000 employees worldwide. Part of a new squad, expanding the team in an open and well‑knit environment. This is a contract role with an initial 3‑month period and a high possibility of extension. Flexible & hybrid: Tuesdays & Thursdays mandatory in office (3 days per week). Auckland CBD based. Key Responsibilities Work on a large digital portal and core systems upgrade. Assist in launching a new product in the underwriting space. Collaborate with the team on technical discussions and deliver high‑quality code. Qualifications Minimum 10 years of commercial development experience as a backend/full‑stack developer. Proficient in C# .NET (non‑negotiable) and experience with Blazor (preferred). Seasoned contractor preferred; open to experienced developers interested in contracting. Based in Auckland or able to relocate to Auckland. Approachable, team‑fit, and able to add value to discussions. Benefits Excellent hourly pay rates ($95‑105 per hour). 37.5‑hour work week for work‑life balance. Opportunity for contract extension.
